V8 ignition problem

I have no ignition on the starter button - any ideas? I was messing with the rev counte wiring when the car was running, it cut out and now no power on starter button. Rover V8 engine.

Is there just nothing happen? not even turning over but lights and such still go on? This randomly happened to me on my ZR, a jump start later and it was fine, was a bit strange.

Its a MGB conversion, old rover v8 engine - no fusues seem to have blown - odd?

definitely sounds like you've messed up the wiring, check the connections behind the dash

Has it got a remote solenoid? Is it clicking when you try to crank?
