Autocar have just released these photos of a Jaguar concept, shown at Pebble Beach.
I'm not that keen on the wheels, but the rest of the car looks incredible!

I love the new XJ and like the direction that Jaguar are going. I also think this looks good too. It's interesting how that the bonnet regulations are being used to advantage here.
Ignore the wheels and white paint, it's in Pebble Beach after all and so they are obviously trying to appeal to the US market. I don't think the wheels are too bad as it happens and on a darker car they wouldn't be as pronounced.

Looks good. I have become used to the volvo-esque grill but agree the rear of the XJ was disappointing.
The reaction of many to the S Type (albeit Clarkson driven perhaps) shows that Jaguar could not keep making cars that harped back to the 60's and 70's designs; at least not if they wanted to stay in business.

Wow. Really *really* like it. Imposing, stern, and looks like it really means business. I'd get the hell out of the way if that came surging up behind me on the motorway!
Jaguar are producing some brilliant cars at the moment - so, so glad they've managed to reverse their fortunes.

Not that I'll ever be fortunate enough to be in a position to have to make that sort of decision but, yep, I think I'd agree with you on that as well.

Lets face it though, you'd jump out of the way like a scalded cat if you saw this cruising up behind you in lane 3. Which I think is probably the point. 
Jag have made a bit of a hash of the XJR. I often pass the Jaguar dealer close to where I live and see one now and the rear just doesn't wash. I think people are just being kind.
I prefer the XF and the XK... there's a lovely white XKR on the forecourt (quite Jap stylee with black wheels) and by heck it looks menacing.
