After reading some disparaging comments about the rear of the new Jaguar XJ, I wondered which cars could be considered to have a great arse! I am thinking aesthetic rather than functional but you may think otherwise.

My first consideration would be the Brera

Really not a fan of the Brera's rump, just looks ugly and cheap to me.
This on the other hand really works for me

Still think the E46 M3 looks the business from the back too

Wouldn't say either were the best though, that's reserved for the GT40 or Countach imo

I prefer rounded to 'bony' perhaps!

This is certainly smooth

I like that it has no real design. It just is.

Not the most popular of Ferraris, but one of my favourites nonetheless and just about my favourite rear end of all time...

One of the best looking cars from any angle of the last ten years. Pity they handle like they have flat tyres.

This; potentially.

1948 Talbot Lago Grand Sport with Saoutchik body.

The front isn't bad either; nor is the performance.

Now the French make the Bipper Teepee. What happened?

Gotta be the Sagaris

Those twin, laterally mounted exhausts look absolutely corking.

everything about the 8C is beautiful. Except the rear. Which is hideous.

I would rather have one of these than a 355, fantastic looking cars with just the right proportions
