Tyre Specialists - A Question

While swapping over some perfectly good tyres, an over enthusiastic fitter seems to have buckled the beading on one side of a tyre. Not sure how visible this is in a photo.

Am I right to assume this is now scrap as it will never seat properly on the rim?

However I am not sure who exactly did the removal and fitting as it was in the hands of an indie who probably outsourced it.

I've made a mess of a few tyres/wheels in my time (I learn by making mistakes ) but how the fk did he manage that?

The bead is probably broken, the tyre is scrap.

Seen it happen a few times with low profile Pirelli tyres, school boy error on the fitters part.
