Insuring a Lancia Thema 8.32

Spotted a nice 8.32 on PH today and seriously toying with the idea of going to have a look at it, so thought i would check out the insurance first in case its silly money...

fully comp, agreed value £8k, £350 excess, 5k miles no commuting pa, 8 yrs NCD, what ya reckon?

The insurance company think Lancia? Hmmmm, a complicated one, as well. He won't get far in that....

Love those cars cannot see much risk of depn only issue will be servicing costs

Yep Sureterm are good, I've insured my M3 with them. No excess, 3k pa, 4k agreed value for £300 per year and I'm 27.

But it's effectively a 308gt4 being driven in reverse! That's really stupidly cheap.

I was at the Italian car and bike show just outside Edinburgh today.

There was a gorgeous 8.32 there.

Insurance has always been cheap for me, guess there's not many here, and they don't get tanked often, so they don't particularly worry the actuaries' tables..

308GT4 is just over £200 per year to insure fully comp with limited mileage.

thats scarily cheap, I'm paying around £500 per year on the freakin' diesel A6!!!!

Hmmmm, get rid of the A6, buy Thema 8.32. As a daily driver, getting the kids around at weekend. Tempting, tempting ....
