Volvo C70 Vert. What could go wrong?

Hi, Looking for C70 Convertible for swmbo, is there any thing major apart from usual hot/cold starts and so on, I should look out for. Any pointers/advice would be helpful.
They 'seem' to be a great looking car with good spec and safety for not too much money?
Could be taking the plunge.

As with any cab, a potentially massive bill if the hood falls apart or breaks.

It's a V70 underneath so check power steering rack end for leaks (if it is its goosed its a French made POS) and rear bushes wobbling. Also watch for any dash lights etc.

Hood, it either works or it doesnt!

Good Cars, High bills in my experience (based on volvo s40, but that is a ford focus so perhaps not applicable)

when starting allow the car to warm fully. The idle should be rock steady... any signs of a wobble it could be the ETM which is a nice £800 repair bill.

Worn front suspension is the other major gripe but other than that, my dad had a C70T5 for years, got 40K out of her no problem. I myself had an S70, apart from the new clutch which was a eye watering price she was also solid as a drum and a Crank Position Sensor (£10 on ebay) she did me well for 18 months too...
