WTF Do they do it???

Last night at around 10pm I heard a clatter followed by some laughing outside which is unusual as we live on a very quiet cul-de-sac. When I looked out of the window I discovered that the rear boot spoiler is lying on the road!! Armed with cricket bat I ran outside to discover the scally's were nowhere to be seen but on closer inspection discovered that they had 'ran' over my car as there were footprints on the bonnet, roof & boot (which now has dents)! Ok, its just a Y reg Rover diesel, nothing fancy but it is (was) rather tidy, but thats not the point! Whats the point is that it is MY car not theirs to do with whatever they want!!

Just a good job it wasn't the MX-5 or there could very well have been one less chav in the world this morning!!

fking chav scum fking ing bds! I hope they catch some noxious fking disease!!!

Thing is we live in a 'nice' area...god only knows what its like to live in a st one!

There are some scum on this planet, and I do hope you catch them to pay for the damage.

I had a similar incident some years ago, and fortunately a neighbour saw and called the BiB.
The chap was caught, prosecuted, fined and had to pay compensation to me.
I saw £3!

My heart goes out to you. Happened to my dad just after he brought his car. It is irrelevant what car it was, it is completely inexcusable. Bet you the parents just think 'its just kids being kids'. No you fat dole slag its not just kids being kids, it a disgrace. If you cant control your offspring then dont have them, or better neuter the lot of them.

My only wish is they do it to the wrong person and get their heads knocked together.

This happened to my XJS many years ago, luckily I managed to kick it back out. silly f**'s didn't realise there was a group of us sitting in the pub garden right next to where the car was parked. Bet they never did it agsin.

LOL..! I think the previous owner fitted one from an MG ZS as its not standard on the Rover. It wasn't one of those garish whaletails though, just a subtle smaller version.

I'm no longer Barry McBarry though as the spoiler is now in the house, cracked & covered in scratches!! Pointless refitting it, might just see if I can pick up a scratch & dent free bootlid in the same colour from the scrappers! If I find out who did the damage then they can gladly have the old boot & the spoiler...delivered to their home via the front window!

Some little punk (and I mean he was about 6) tried to break our front door window last night, I heard a loud bang but couldn't figure out what it was so forgot about it.

About 5 minutes later my doorbell goes and I answer one of the teenage kids in our estate saw the little kid do it and dragged him to my door for him to apologise.

I have no idea what plants the idea to be so destructive in a young kids mind. I was mighty impressed with the teenager who brought him to justice though I guess there's good and bad everywhere.

Anyway sorry about your car OP

Why people always assume its the scum of society its not, its often drunken idiots that most of the time are quite sensible and whilst drunk think its fun. Perhaps try listening to the Streets - Irony of it all!

OP im sorry to hear about this, i had something similar done to my car, spoiler ripped off and then some guys ran over my housemates' cars denting the roofs and bonnets causing over £1k in damage.

More likely the older kid did it, or told the younger kid to do it, and then decided it'd be funny to try to get him in trouble for it.

Yeah I have thought of that but it might be a better idea to pretend that every ball I face this Saturday is the scumbags head, that way I might get some runs instead of the duck I got last week!!
Probably a safer use of the bat, just not as satisfying
