****ing mouthbreathers in car parks

Had a great night last night...

Me and the missus going to the local cinema, pulled into the car park, saw someone reversing out, as it was the only space around I stopped and waited behind them so I could nip in when they left.

Some utter nipped in in front of me when the other car left, as I drove past him I wound down my window and said "By the way mate we were waiting for that spot" and he just replies "Yeah I know sorry I didn't see you" and walks off... FFS...

Drove around trying to find another space and some tt in a knackered Escort almost has a head on with us around a corner in a one way car park (We were going the right way)... And then got "Shut up dhead" shouted at me when I told him as such... Charming...

I really despair of this planet, we ended up driving to another cinema that wasn't totally populated by utter fking pondlife... Really wound me up though.

No real point to this post other than to ask why is it car parks in particular that appear to be full of fking idiots... And how do you deal with it when some lowlife calls you a dhead... It took all my willpower not to follow him in and ask him if he wanted to repeat himself...

Exactly. I don't know how these people can leave their cars knowing they had pissed someone-off...well i couldn't anyway.

I'm yet to have some one attempt to steal a parking space from me.

My dad was telling me that in his younger days while in central london someone stole a parking space from him while it was very busy, the next thing the guy knew he was being dragged out of his car window by his shirt. Needless to say my dad got his parking space back.

Well that's the thing, my girlfriend was with me so the last thing I want to do is get in a fight with her around, but the guy that called me a dhead, that really wound me up considering that he looked like an utter fking council mess...

I got in one at our local Sainsburys, some older lady hoofed her Lexus to get there first, my spot, plain and simple but I just thought, go on then, crash into me seeing as I am in a much older car, she blew her horn and flicked me the bird and screeched off.

I walked to the shop, she only comes round the other way and aims at me, I dived between two cars but if I hadnt moved she would have hit me, shook me up, should have reported it but forgot the reg.

Stealing a space that someone is waiting for is bad , however I dont have a problem with "going the wrong way" in a car park, using an exit as an entrance or vice versa is different but for me there is no right and wrong ways to drive around one.

1) It's the world, not just carparks.

2) Throw a can of redbu-...erm, ignore him.

Last time someone in a carpark nipped infront of me and nicked a space I was waiting for I just parked them in by dumping my car right behind theirs. Yes I was also blocking in 3 other cars and risking a ticket but I'm an asshole and it would be worth it. Anyway, you have only to blip your car shut and start walking before the person who just stole your space calls after you - they're usually a bit more inclined to sod off and let you have the space at that point.

Last month I was waiting at the train station for a friend, I pulled up and called her to tell her where I was parked. I wasn't in a proper parking space, but I wasn't blocking anything. An old woman walks slowly upto my bonnet with her two manky terriers in tow, stares at me through the windscreen, just stares. I felt a little bit uneasy about this so just pretended to be fiddling with my phone. 30 seconds later she is still there so I look up and see her saying something. I wound my window down so I could hear and and she is saying 'move OUT THE WAY'. I pointed to her to simply walk around my car (the pavement bit I was parked on was about twice the width of my car).

At that point she picked up her walking stick and hit the front of my bonnet (only bought the car a few days beforehand). Now I've got unending patience and tolerance but how DARE someone hit my car with their walking stick!

As there were people watching I thought it probably wouldn't go my way if I got out and asked why she hit my car, so I drove off. Grrr.

The waiting-for-a-parking-space-then-someone-else-nicks-it scenario grates me too.

Is there fk, stick to the fking markings, why not just use whatever lane on the road you like, left lane all the way round roundabouts? You've got no problem with that either then?

Why pay attention to the marked bays then? Why not just park wherever the fk you like?

I had a slimilar issue.

I was waiting for a space (had been waiting over 5 mins) and saw a silver Merc fly around the car park way too fast the wrong way, thought nothing of it.

Space I was waiting for was vacated so I started to reverse in and this silver Merc goes hammering into the space part way to block me, so I stopped and he had to also stop to avoid a bang. He jumped out and told me to foxtrot oscar and I said why should I as I had been waiting and he had only just entered the car park (the wrong way) and I had started to enter the space before him.

He menacingly comes up to my car window and says "why don't I smash your f**king face in you c**nt".

I pick up my phone and say "and why don't I call the police eh"

He threatens further "that I won't be able to talk to anyone in a minute"

"so what are you going to do then" i replied.
"smash your f**king face in"

"you're a dick", have the f-ing space if it means that much to you i replied.

I pulled forward to let him in and then reversed back to an inch off his passenger door so that his wife had to climb across the other side to get out

I took his number down and when I got home I posted on PH about it and was given a link where I could check the insurance and tax databases and he had neither; I took great pleasure in shopping the idiot

I usually do, I'm a quiet person that would usually just stay quiet when being walked all over but I'm sick of idiot drivers...
