Does anyone know what contam is?

I was having a look at what's on offer in the classifieds and as usual got distracted by the more unusual things.
I've just spotted this on ebay

and in the description it says it can run on contam, which I can't say I've ever heard of, a google search turns up nothing, just lots of stuff about contaminated land, is it just as simple as contaminated diesel?

Yes I think that's about it. My mate runs runs things on "dual fuel" which is essentially the pumped-out contents of fuel tanks filled with the wrong flavour.

Yeah, it'll run on anything from jet fuel to stty diesel. Very handy as you can buy the recovered fuel from breakdown companies very cheaply.

That KRAZ runs on diesel.

I have no idea what "contam" means but I do know that this type of vehicle is not limited to a narrow specification of diesel fuel. Quality can vary widely without causing trouble.

Thanks, I thought given that it's military and Russian that it might not be too fusy about what it drinks as long as it gets lots of it!
