Shell V-Power is a waste of money

I filled my Focus TDCI with this yesterday and there's no noticeable benefit, in fact the engine is now rattling and spewing out white smoke. Rubbish.

Miniman, the rattling and the smoke could be caused by the additives in Shell V Power cleaning the rubbish off your pistons and head, hence the white smoke, it could also mean that your engine management system is not self regulating the timing for the increase in RON of the petrol

I have always used Shell Petrol and I use it now in my Jaguar XK-R Coupe... if I have to go to a garage where it is not shell or they have no V-Power, the power loss is noticeable and I get 2-3mpg less on non V-Power.
