Now I know its very un-PH to admit our driving mistakes, but I have just had my first ever incident, and what a stupid avoidable one it was too! Reversing in a carpark, not looking properly and bang, straight into a volvo pulling out at the same time. Needless to say I feel like the worlds biggest pillock right now!

Please make me feel better and tell me that we all make these idiotic mistakes from time to time?

I once rented a Mustang convertible in Montreal. I was not a very experienced driver. Reversed in a square there they had parking signs embedded in large blocks of concrete. I backed into one which tipped over, causing the lip of the concrete block to lift the entire rear of the car into the air. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and the patios were full of bright young women that were notably attractive to a single man like me.
I got a round of applause as I stood there,red-faced, Avis Mustang tail in the air, until some of the good natured crowd helped me to get it down.............
