Interesting modern coupe, £10kish?

I have just sold a Jaguar XK8 4.2 Convertible and want to replace it with a coupe.

Sometimes I feel that in reality there is not a great choice of cars, and perhaps what I quite want maybe isn't produced.

I think there is one car that fits the bill, but I may have missed something, my criteria may narrow it down a little; not made by Audi/BMW/Mercedes, Rear drive, Multi cylindered, Auto or manual, Rear seats(2+2 is fine) would be nice and a bit of performance!

Any suggestions?

350z I guess would be the obvious one. TVR Tuscans are creeping into that area for something completely mad. Not sure how much maser 3200gt's are fetching these days? Other than that, by not including bmw/audi/merc you are significantly reducing your choices.

This is what I mean by limited choice. 350Z lovely car but doesn't do it for me. TVR, no rear seats, and I'm not that dedicated to the cause.

how modern is modern? 2 yrs, 5yrs, 10years?

A very late model Supra? a Monaro? an RX-8?

Its a tricky one for the budget... Alfa gt/gtv 3.2 v6 may be worth a look if your not too bothered by the rear drive thing. Cerb instead of a tuscan then haha, but yes, I guess you do have to be committed for something like this. How about an early vauxhall monaro. Or dare I say it before 300bhp comes along, something like a mustang?

I think Monaro is the answer, just wondering if I'd missed something.

Can just about get a 6.0 VXR for £13k. Strikes me as fantastic value.
