My first contribution would be to all the mums on school runs and shopping trips:

Put the fking car seat on the near-side so that when you're strapping your kid in, or wiping its face and generally spending far too much time with the door open wide, you're not forcing traffic to swerve you, or even stop to avoid taking your pissing door off.

OVERTAKING:

If you're not overtaking on a multi lane carriageway then pull the fk over to the nearside lane.

If you are in a row of traffic whose speed is restricted by the vehicle in front (eg old person doddering, HGV, bus or agricultural vehicle) and you are not prepared to make a safe overtake then leave plenty of room between your vehicle and the car in fornt so that others may overtake when an opportunity arises.

If you ride a motorbike then filter to your heart's content however, when the road opens up, get the fk out of my way when you're going too slow through the twisty bits you selfish cts! (ot aimed at all bikers, just those idiots I seem to come across in West Devon).

Working on the basis that the 'near' in nearside refers to the kerb side of the road... wtf are you talking about?

do what we/mymisses does, youngest on passenger side, she can see him if needed and when parked, shove the front passenger side seat forwards, yank out smallest [he is 2] andtell eldest who is nearl 6 to step not climb accross

I think the main reason for the reduction in traffic is that many people are away on holiday. I notice a big drop in traffic when I head to work at 6am. There can't be many on the school run at that time.

However, I live opposite a school and I tend to arrive home at bang on 15.30. Most days I have some tard parked across my driveway. Although I've not really noticed too many opening the offside door. They must be more cleverer round here!
