Their screening test sounds suspect to me...
They've put faults all over the car.
Depending on what problem was described when the vehicle was taken in why would they check all things?
"Hello mate, My car's got a rough idle, what can you do?"
"Well Sir, I'll inflate the rear tire, replace a blown reversing bulb and I'll top up your brake fluid..."
