What is the mindset of these individuals?
Making progress on the M6 north of Lancaster zero traffic in lane one yet there seemed to be so many idiots crawling along sub 65mph in lane 2.
Even some distant "I am making progress coming up behind you flashes" had no effect on there doggedness to hang in lane 2????
I suppose their mentality is there is another lane on the outside of me so use it applies.
unfortunately due the them filling lane 2 lane 3 was crawling and heavy with traffic whilst lane 1 empty...go figure?

Yes, but I'm sure there were points raised that need to be discussed again this week. Undertaking for one - should it be called undertaking or is it overtaking on the wrong side? Millions of pounds was spent adding another lane to the M1 from J25-28, but the cretins now drive in lane 3 meaning it was a complete waste of money and three years of 50mph average speed cameras. If it was actually made an offence to drive in a lane with no-one to the left it would have the same effect as adding at least an extra lane to every motorway.
I just tend to stay in lane 1 and pass them knowing that there's a safety margin of an extra lane between us. It's surely safer than going across 4 lanes and then back again.

It is annoying when you're the 1% who do the right thing, and spend your entire journey trying to get back into the middle lane, having moved into the near side lane and got boxed in

I had to endure this on Friday, from Leeds to Aberdeen (ok so it's not 3 lanes from just south of Glasgow) and it was infuriating, I made a point of showing the wker signal as I was passing on the offchance they might have seen it.
