Am I a car bore?

Our flat is by a busy-ish road & when a decent sounding car drives past I'll usually try to identify the make and model by the sound before looking out the window to check if I was correct.

Do I need help? Is it just me? Or do other people do this as well?

I hear a lot of nice car engine sounds from the busy main road - but far too lazy to get off the sofa (most of the time). Oh, other house blocks the view anyway.

I was mowing the lawn the other day and I heard a familiar grumble-hiss-grumble-hiss from the main road on the other side of the houses, without a doubt a Subaru Impreza WRX or STi getting pushed hardish. Typical boxer grump and dump valve hiss.
