This evening I'm just trundling home in my little ancient commuter-wagen and unusually for us down here in the southwest get well an truly stuck in 2 lanes of crawling traffic, now I know that posting here won't achieve sympathy as this is hardly a bastion of eco friendliness - but sad that I am I derive a little comfort from the fact that my rubbish little wagen is ideal for commuting, frugal, and as it ages I get less bothered about the endless amounts of small dents - besides I have weekend toy.... I digress.. stick in traffic this bohemoth hoves into view in what purports to be the fast lane and gradually gains, when alongside any hint of daylight disappears - then without warning this brand new discovery 3 TDV6 monster carves in front into a gap the size of a credit card - a touch inconsiderate thinks I but ok... then in the back window what do I spy an fffffff'ing Greenpeace sticker (made of plastic...)! I mean FFS - I love the planet so bloody much that me as solitary driver think it necessary to drive a sodding 4wd HGV running my aircon at ice bloody cold in order to get me home in a serene state to not disrupt the karma of my pet tree which I'll hug after my lentil stew... If you care so bloody much about the sodding environment then don't drive your personal ice cap melting ozone destroyer - get a bike - that way I can happily run you over and if I do it well enough I can effectively reduce your CO2 emissions.....

And calm.....

Maybe if I had got that sticker earlier the bloody eco nuts would not have done £3000 worth of damage to my D3.

Alright must do better on rants in future - not into too much swearing (didn't realise it was obligatory) or causing damage to others toys - no matter how big a tw*t! Just find myself wondering if that particular driver has any hint of the irony....

Eco hippies usually are hypocrites. It is difficult to live in the Western World and not be a CO2 generator....... biggrin

If this was treehugger.org I reckon you would have got 10/10 for that rant. It sounded lazy and tired. Pull your socks up and actually try next time, dude.
