Petrol prices gone down?

Just been to fill the dog wagon up, to discover that diesel is 3p a litre lower than it was a couple of weeks ago when I last filled her up!?!?

I gave up looking a long time ago. I now just make sure to pop a butt-plug in before getting fuel as I find it takes the edge off the pain a little.

Yeah, filled up today at the local Tesco and it was only (pfft only....) 111.9, 2p cheaper than Monday when I filled up.

price of unleaded has dropped to £112.9 in Morrisons (Knottingley and Rotherham) from the £114.9 it was.

Still bloody ludicrous!

Yup, its down to 109.9p at my local station, from 114.9 last week.

Anyone actually know why? I haven't seen anything in the news about this BUT then I am not watching much news at the moment, so that might be the reason.........

It's already higher than that at some places.

I passed a few filling stations near Leceister and prices as high as 127.9 for unleaded were not too uncommon last weekend.

The worst I have ever encountered for price disparity was after picking up a car I bought 3.5 years ago and needed to put a littel fuel in the tank before running out. I had to stop at a country filling station and it was £1.30 a litre (3.5 years ago)!

And £ trading about $1.55. Much better than 3-4 months ago.
