Amazing that after 2 years (cars are registered on 08 plates if links don't work) they are still on sale with no mileage on them. Must be 5 years now since they went out of production? Not cheap though.

Very very ambitious. £1000 extra discount off the Rover V8 making it a £29k bargain...not. Not even an MG. I imagine they will be 60/61 plates even though they are 08 models otherwise they still depreciate.

Who the fk does their accounts, and why aren't they going "Right, get those up for a sensible price, market them around the Rover enthusiast forums/communities to see if anyone wants them and if they're still here in 2 months sling them through auction so we can use the capital and space for something that will actually sell and make some money!"

That's why they'll always be a Perodua, Proton etc dealership and will never get any respected brands in there.

There's nothing wrong with the Rover 75. It's neither poorly made, nor unreliable.

The Rover was far softer than the MG so if there were ever a classic, the MG was the "Vitesse equivalent", the Rover more a 3500SE equivalent. 260hp from a 2v Mustang engine was never going to set the world alight.

Correct on one count, the fact it doesnt exist anyone, the rest is just plain wrong, I suppose that attitude does keep prices though for those who have a clue.

PS, I dont own one, I just know they are a good car and dont deserve such a reputation.

That would be a good buy if it wasn't for the appalling spec, 1.8 manual with fabric seats and hub caps
