Who from EVO was driving a Skoda Yeti at the Ring ?

Spectating at Brunchen on Monday, watching the usual suspects ( 911/BMW/Nissan GTR ) struggling to cope with the rain, when a Skoda Yeti came flying round at quite literally twice the speed of the exotica.

Ring rumour was that it was someone connected to Evo, but who ? Whoever they are, massive respect is due, I went out later that day and it was like an ice rink, I only managed a 13 min lap.

Well they are running one as a long-termer at the moment and Chris harris was there recently (According to his twitter feed) so putting 2 and 2 together I reckon it could have been him.

Ollie Marriage is running one as an evo long-termer, but it could have been any of them driving it.

It was Meaden. He put some pictures of it up on Twitter. He was there to drive a Porsche 908 I think.

I am not joking when I say it came round Brunchen twice the speed of anything else, it must require some serious skill to do that on a downhill right hander when the apexes were like ice from all the rubber laid down.

Serious skill, yes. But on tall, skinny, not particularly grippy tyres, I suspect it was drifting quite happily

He had it running on Dunlop Direzza tyres. That's where a lot of the grip/pace came from
