More roadside BiB since scamera shut down??

Has anyone else noticed there are far more road side checks / manned speed traps since the scamera shut down?

Certainly true in my area, many "random" roadside checks in laybys and have spotted many many more BiBs on the side of the road with a speed gun.

Anyone else noticed this?

I think it's a statement - "we might have turned the cams off but we are still watching you" type thing... Or maybe just making up for the lost revenue?

to be honest, I would rather see this than cameras (and the associated bloated bureaucracy of the SCP's behind them)

I've noticed loads more around the Southampton area in the last few weeks. As far as I'm aware the fixed cameras are still in operation as well.

Their financial situation is so dire they're all out to boost the funds!
