Is it just me, or does anyone else think this looks like rather a lot of car for the money: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1918967.htm

Could have sworn they were closer to £20k.

I do like it. A bit concerned about the seemingly low bhp output, but it's a fairly small and light car.

IIRC 150-ish bhp is one of the standard states of tune for the 1800 Zetec. I think it's acheived by dropping the standard 2-litre Ford camshafts in and putting the Alpha webcon management system on or something. It's not spectacular, true, but it seems to be what a lot of people settle for.

I liked the G15 but not this!

It looks as though headroom was limited, so they got somebody to sit in a car with a flexible roof, and told them to stretch until it felt right lol. (hence the funny bubble effect around the rear edge of the doors)

Light weight, enough bhp without making it a hedgeseeking missile, swoopy styling, racing heritage, rarity.

If I had 12k to put on a car I would snap that up faster than Usain Bolt on steroids.

I love 'em, ever since I "drove" one in Gran Turismo 4 a few years ago. They're gorgeous, like a Jag XKSS hardtop.

It's just a simple matter of winning the Lottery, or raiding the VDublings University stash...

Only thing that would worry me about getting such a niche marque would be selling the damn thing on again when I inevitably got bored of it and moved on to something else...

Fantastic - stunning to look at, great fun + quick down a and b roads, cheap to run, bomb prove residuals, rarely you'd see another one.

Bargain for that money and from a reputable dealer too!

Well, it's not really a lottery winner's price though. I knew they were comparitively affordable, but I didn't realise they were down to £10/12k now. Could have sworn I saw one for over £20k before I bought the Caterham...

Quite tempted, but parts availability and stories of evil handling G27s would be in the back of my mind.

I've watched these and on the whole they're all circa £15k upwards so can't understand why this one is cheaper.Mileage?

Especially since the panel gaps are big enough to crawl through without bothering with the doors.
