CONgestion charge?

On way back from Uxbridge yesterday, I get lost in my own hallway so I put the sat nav on, hoping it will guide me back to the M25, but instead it takes me past Kings cross station, through Whitechapel and the Blackwall Tunnel. Ive NO idea if I was inside the CON zone or not, however, its not possible to check that on the website!! WHY isnt it possible, surely the car reg numbers go into a database, one which can be easily searched!! WHAT A TOTAL, TOTAL, SCAM!!

You only get to make this argument if you promise you'll never complain that anyone who knows what your registration number is could find out where you were at a certain time.

What time of day was it?

The charge is only active between 7am and 6pm.

You have until midnight tonight to pay the charge if it was indeed incurred, if you're concerned, call them. I'm sure they could tell you if you had entered the zone and arrange the mugging from you of however much cash it is now.

It was mid afternoon. Calling them is an option, its just odd that you can pay the charge, even if you werent in the zone lol.

The map only helps people that know where they were going lol. That doesnt include me.

It is normally fairly obvious if you enter a congestion zone.

from memory the route you took is prob not through the con charge zone

My sat nav always tries to take my trough the middle of london, when its better to get on the M25 and go around.

If it is anything like mine it would have taken you into the congestion charge zone, but never made that mistake yet as I always check the map of the route first and it lets me know if it is going into toll roads which it classes the congetsin zone as.

I have had this a few time to be honest so annoying, just get it paid its not worth the risk of the fine

tbh if you can't find the two miles from Uxbridge to the M25 you need to park the car up and use public transport.

A tad late now but, unless your Sat Nav threw a wobbly would agree with Vixpy.
