Leather cleaner / feeding stuff

My car is a 2007 S-type Jag has black leather seats

I have just spent the day cleaning the car, need to do the inside.

Whats the recomeded leather seat cleaning / feeding 'stuff' now a days ?

Gliptone twins, will clean the leather then condition it, fantastic stuff! Buy it online from one of the detailing companies, cleanmycar sell it I think, just google it! Will restore the smell!

Mer do a very good leather cleaner and you can buy it from most car shops. Don't mock it till you have tried it...

we use Zymol ( orange can saying with glycerine) and comes as a spray...

Today i have been cleaning my new Tuscan i used Glipton on the leather interior it came up a treat.

I used to use Gliptone conditioner until I realised it can't work on modern coated leathers.

The oils just sit on top of the plastic coating on the leather, it can't be absorbed so just attracts more dirt.

What does this gliptone do? Does it recolour or improve the feel of the leather? Does it need some sort of sealer after use? I've used auot-glym in the past and have never really been totally convinced that it does much. Other than use up a bored moment

I've always used AutoGlym Leather Cleaner with good results.

Autoglym cleaner, much better than the Gliptone cleaner which leaves a very sticky mess and is hard to rinse/wipe off. Followed by Gliptone liquid leather conditioner, lovely stuff. But as someone has already mentioned, if its normal car leather that may as well be vinyl, as fitted to all top spec bread & butter cars and BMW's/Mercedes/etc, there's no point, just wipe it down with a microfibre in a very weak warm soapy water and leave it at that.

Autoglym here too, gives the leather a lovely suppleness.

Agreed. Smells great too. On a warm day, you open the car door and a waft of leather smell smacks you in the face. Great.

I've used gliptone and autoglym for both cleaning and conditioning. Either was fine for me, can't say i remember a huge difference.
