Cheap cars

Ok so your looking for a cheap car say no more than £1000 just interested to know how far you would travel for the right car or would you only look locally ?

Yep you guessed it I can only find interesting cars a squillion miles away and im getting impatient waiting for the right car to come up locally.

I travelled 0.3 miles to buy my current car. However, in the market for a cheap sub five hundred quid snotter and am looking up to 100 miles, but would only go more than 50 for something that looked very good for the money.

Get onto Ebay. You will pick up something cheap and locally unless you live in the middle of nowhere

I got my current car from a dealer no more than 5 mins walk from my parents house. Which is about 50 miles from my place.

if you want a super cheap motoring, ebay is your best bet. looking at K11/90's nissan micras, or fiestas. you could pick them up from anywhere between £0-200

I travelled from Aberdeen to London to buy a Mk3 16v Golf for £300

Best £300 i have ever spent on a car, it just goes to show cheap cars are worth travelling for

I have realised I am my own worst enemy in that what I really want is german or swedish.From what I see when looking on a regular basis is there is very little of this stuff oop north.

I wouldn't travel more than 10 miles/20 minutes for a stter. It'd have to be an amazing car for me to travel more than 10 miles/30 minutes nowadays.

used to think nothing about travelling 50 plus miles but now try and keep it within about 25 miles as just can't be bothered travelling far to view something that disappoints or the owner is full of it and can't find the service history (i'll post it on, yeah cheers).

I generally dont like to travel too far for a car.

If it was a real bargain I would probably travel up to 50 miles.

I had a £300 peugeot 205 1.1 off ebay, lasted 1 year. Only cost me fuel and very little insurance before it went bang. It was local, personally wouldn't travel far for a "snotter".
