i saw one last night as it happens - a lovely blue Astra VXR sitting in a showroom clearly awaiting collection today. I must admit I was a bit jealous - it must be nice to pick up a brand new car.

Saw a dozen or so 60 plate C1s at the dealer across the road but not seen any on the road yet.

New Golf TDi spotted this morning at work - which reminded me it was the 1st of September, which made me remember my tax had run out, and I'd just driven 40 miles to work while the new tax disc is sat on my mantel piece at home! Oops! That was worth doing online nice and early, wasn't it!?

Eh? Old style plates (Y123 XYZ) used to become new on 1st August. when it moved to twice yearly it became 1st September and 1st March.
