Spare Wheel?

Do car manufactures still supply new cars with a tiny spare wheel? or is it just selected car manufactures?
Reason am asking is because of this.

I know their 'good' for 'x' many miles but with a car that big and weight with rwd, just looks lethal.

I think it's often an option to have a real spare instead of a space-saver.

• cough* my accord doesnt even have a space saver, can of goo and a mini compressor will do fine according to Mr Honda.....

my xkr has a space saver spare, bet the traction control will have fun if I ever have to use it.
