I'm back in the market for a reasonable car for work and would like to ask if anyone has seen any good deals recently?
In the past I ordered an A6 2.0 TDI for £199 pm + vat but sadly after waiting 16 weeks it never arrived (what a surprise). A week later I took delivery of another car only to find a message on my answerphone saying "the Audi was mine if I still wanted it"!
So I have a £200 PM Budget (+VAT) does anyone know of any great deals out there?
No Citroen Picasso's please....

High spec Passat CCs were being offered at £195 pm plus Vat recently. Check out www.contracthireandleasing.com
dont be shocked by the site there are some good deals there, and you can talk live with them for more info/specific spec prices etc.

Those are business rates unfortunately unless you are self empoloyed or putting it through your company they are a bit more than that as a personal lease, i know as i spent a few weeks chasing these deals. The current Volskswagen deals seem to be all aimed at Business users only unless you can find a broker who will finance you as a sole trdaer. I was after a fully specced Eos at £245 + vat only to be told by 5 or 6 brokers that it would be £450 - 550 per month for a personal dealseemed like a bargain to me for whats a 22k car.
it was a 6+23 term (it seems a lot are 6 payment up front these days.)

why are business deals so much cheaper anyway?

I would have thought the super-cheap deals would generally be available on stock cars towards the end of the quarter when manufacturers are trying to move inventory and get the registration numbers up.Getting a deal on a car on 16 weeks l/t makes no sense at all.
