What did I see?

Last night I saw a car (unfortunately only in profile so no badge at all)

It was like a tall Copen (similar sized) but the roof curve stopped near the rear, then was almost vertical down to a lower boot which (I think) was curved, aping the roof line. It was one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen!

The car was black, I'm almost certain it was Japanese or from the Far East. I couldn't see the front so not sure on that end...

Any guesses from the PH Detectives?
