You didn't read the road well enough. Should've seen the impending problem and moved out before he was too close. Brake test? You must've changed lane and been right up his ass to deserve that, maybe flashed your lights in anger? I did make it very clear, very early that I wanted to come back out but he was far too close at such speeds and looked to be trying an overtake so I stayed in, and the last thing I wanted to do was pull out on faster moving traffic.Man up and admit what is a relatively minor error on your part and get over it, bet it cost you all of 10 or 15 seconds.

There was still a decent gap between me and him before he tried to brake test me. After that I moved back to the inside lane, yet had to get back into the outside lane slightly further down the road to overtake more traffic. He then started slowing down to stop me overtaking the next block of traffic, only then did I flash him.
