Motorway cruiser

Need something which will transport me in relative comfort from Leeds/London 2 or 3 times a week.

Have been looking at the 520 F10 BMW or the A5 2.0 Special Edition. The reviews on the BMW say the 520 is really good & its obviously a brand new model, whereas the A5 is somewhat a bit old in the tooth.

Budget circa 30k, and will be new as would be contract hire through company.

Thoughts ?

Rough figures on BMW are as following;

520 = £400/m
523 = £450/m
528 = £500/m
535 = £550/m

Reviews I've read say 520 is excellent & all thats needed, although never driven one (only ever driven the old 535).

BMW, or possibly a Volvo / Saab for the less sporty ride? The new 9-5 TTiD is out soon.

What about the Alpina D3? Is it too small?
