For years they were sold in Halfrauds as LED washerjets and labelled as 'chavvy'. But now they are this years 'must have'. 9x out of 10 they dont bother me but the other day a TT-RS was coming towards me and it was almost like full-beam.

Yes, DRL's are mandatory. But nowhere in the legislation does it say they have to be 'Really stupid!' Thankfully, most car manufacturer's aren't. As ever, it's the exceptions that spoil it for everyone.

Why close? It’s a perfectly reasonable post isn’t it? If it bores or annoys you could always just try ‘ALT+Left’.

Like I said 9/10 don’t bother me but some are shockingly bright. Irrespective of legislation they shouldn’t be brighter than full beam.
