Name the car - from a part.

I was just toying with the notion that there are some people that can name the car, year, and all the other facts just by glancing at a part in a box of parts.
I suppose I could if I saw a plenum chamber for a Nissan GTIR I'd also be in this group but I'm not that extreme really.

So, I'll be impressed if anyone can tell what this car is...
