One car race

Apparently I got my arse kicked by a BMW 635D today. I really didn't know I was in a race to be honest. I was just popping down the shops to buy a pint of milk and a news paper. The passenger even did the look back and wave as he tore off in a cloud of billowing diesel smoke. I eventually caught them up and the youngish passenger shouted "HA HA, your st porsche can't even beat a diesel". The driver then tore off again in a cloud of diesel smoke. I am now selling the RS and getting the obviously monstrous veryon beating 335D with a remap!!



Oh and an update on the motorised mobility scooter. The engine will hopefully be fitted today! But it depends on how my welding is which I have to admitt is pretty woeful. We are hoping that our young test driver can commence testing tomorrow afternoon. The results of which will be posted on youtube.

Although, I would say 911's (Carrera 2's mostly) are huge fun to upset on the roads. And they get baited so easily as a rule.

I tend to find, when driving the elise, that Audi 3.0 tdi drivers are easily baited and get rather annoyed when they realize that they can't seem to get close enough to attempt an overtake.

I find driving an MX5 tends to wind up drivers of badly modified Imprezas etc, who obviously feel the need to prove how big their, er, exhaust is.

Unfortunately for my inner child, none of them have tried since I got the turbo.
