Looks nice and lots of mods. But it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. Mods don't always mean its worth more, but if someone is willing....

Personally I wouldn't want to pay over £6k for one though.

Hmm, modded cars? Personally never been keen. I've always thought that if you want a fast well handling car buy one rather than make your own by changing something to do what it wasn't designed to?

However, it does look well put together, no idea if it represents value though, not sue how you'd price something like that.

My issue is not the car, or the mods. But that £6-6.5k can buy you a heck of a lot of variety. And at the end of the day, this is still a Nissan.

I do admit residuals seem ok at the moment, but I'm not sure it'll always hold. A number of years back I bought a minter of an S13 for £250 and then flogged it for £1400. I can't see this s14 truly staying above £5k.

300ZX's, STI Impreza's, GT-Celica's and early Evo's aren't worth that kind of money often.

But it does look good, really very very good

Seems pricey to me. £6.5k could buy a very nice E36 M3 Evo which is I think is a better car.

I had a very similar spec 200 not so long ago (see profile) and it sold for £3500 with 89k on it... I'll be suprised if that sells.

Seriously? In all the models of motor vehicles available for sale there isn't something that can be found with the qualities required?
Of course, if you're talking highly specific competition/race/drag?ICE cars then yes, but for the less technically proficient then the safest option must be to buy something designed for purpose?

I would agree with you, but with many Japanese cars there is so much potential to be had from minor mods that it is sometimes worth buying one already modified as you may end up wanting to do the mod your self.

Like the stage 1 mods on the 200sx. A little extra boost, bigger intercooler, exhaust and a remap can add 100bhp which is perfectly safe for the engine and gearbox etc. So its cheaper to buy one that has already had the work done than carry it out your self.

Any stock car, no matter who makes it, can always be improved upon.

I like lots of cars, from lots of different car makers. But even given a lotto win I'd still want a modified car of some sort.

TVR's probably come the closest to not needing "fun" mods. But suspension wise there is huge amounts you can do.

Every sporty car needs a better sportier exhaust as type approval regs restrict them too much.
