What car £8K and 3 babies?

As the title says. I'm at a mates house who has a 18 month old and twins due in the next 2 weeks. His '02 Vectra won't fit 3 baby seats in the back.

So £8k budget, needs to fit 3 baby seats on the back seat and a buggy and double buggy in the boot.

Come on PH give my some help as all I can think if is a Honda FRV.

Unless you get an MPV, 3 seats is pushing it in most cars (I have a V70 and the middle is a pain for the third person as it's raised).

However, these guys: http://www.multimac.co.uk/shop/ will sell you a 3 or 4 seat add on for about £1k which then leaves you £7k to spend on pretty much any car you fancy - M5 / M3 / Camaro (added for 300bhp) etc - any of the usual ph suspects except MX5.

I suspect a full on MPV is needed to get the space round the seats, and space to put pushchairs, baby bags etc. in something like a Chrysler Grand Voyager

Who needs baby seats? 3 cardboard boxes in the foot for the babies, spend the other £7,999.97 on err, something else.
