M1 roadworks

All,

I am travelling up north via the M1 to get to Harrogate. I know I could check the AA site for reported roadworks but can any of you guys that have a regular dealing with the M42 - M1 Leeds be able to give me any heads up as what to expect?

Should be OK. The big bd was J25-28 widening, but that's open now, and is actually pretty darn good. Take the M18 to the A1, though.

so that 30 mile nightmare I went through last time has gone? Cool. Hadnt thought about m18 to a1, makes sense as it cuts out sheffield/leeds and drops me up at harrogate side

Apart from the fact in now gives MLM's a 3rd lane to sit in leaving 2 inner lanes of emptyness, the mind boggles at what is going through their heads
