370z's, rarer than unicorn s**t

I'm pretty keen on getting myeslf a 370z, I like the feel, performance and price. Should be reliable and not too expensive to run/maintain, for a 331BHP car that is.
I've looked at plenty of reviews and they are all good, the prices are competitive for the performance and they are (IMO) a nice looking car.
So why has no one bought one? UK sales are very small.
Second hand they're seeming to hold their value but I'm planning on having it a year and don't want to be stuffed when I try and trade in with the "well no one wants one of these so we'll only give you...." from a dealer.
Does everyone buy a Z4 or Boxster when they want a £30k 2 seater?

May well be that the 370z is the best value for money coupe among people in the know (i.e most PHers), however the people that actually have that sort of money to spend on such a car end up buying tt's, boxsters and z4's instead as an image thing. Would hazard a guess that the market for people spending £30k+ on a 2 seater car (and a thirsty one at that) is smaller than it was 6/7 years ago when the 350 first arrived here.
Would also suggest that PHers interested in that sort of car will be snapping up a used 350 for half the price instead.

Probably this ^^. I've mentioned to friends about buying a 370z and most of them say why spend £30k on a Nissan, I then ask them if they'd spend nearly £60k on a GTR and they all would?!?!?I'm not fussed about the image thing anyway, I've been driving a BMW for the last 6 months and most people just think you are a c**k.... Probably get a better reaction in a 370z anyway!

Seen a couple, but both in white so you don't get the full affect of the shape.
As said above, a fantastic car if you know about it, but doesn't seem to be on most people's radar, which is odd as there are masses of 2nd hand 350z out there.
Maybe there target audience went with the GTR instead because I have seen many more of those out and about.

Didnt they have some sort of interest free deal on these for £300 odd a month? Fair deposit to stick down if i remember rightly but if they are holding their value (making the rarity a good thing 
) then there are worse new cars to throw money at
£7.8k down, £300 a month.
