Really regret getting rid of my Vectra. It was a 2008 V6 CDTi with Xenon's, AFL, Sat-Nav, Exterior Pack upgrade and everything. Only done 18,000 miles and loved it, but decided to sell it due to wanting a bit of a change and wanting some extra cash.

Ive now got a 2002 318i touring, which is ok but not half the fun. I love estate cars but the 318 is too slow. I like the RWD and the feeling you get with an estate but it doesnt give me as much as a smile as the vectra did.

Im looking everywhere for an e90 325/330/335 saloon now (work use estates and if i showed up with one i might get mocked :P ) but cant find one for a decent price (ive put myself on an 8k budget).

Im keeping my eyes open for a VXR Vectra but finding one for a decent price with the same spec as my oil burner is proving hard.

Its strange how you hate so much about something, but then you miss it when its gone. Hated the diesel at times but id do anything to have it back now

If anyone has or has recently come across a silver lightning v6 cdti vectra on an '08 plate with a cracking spec, shout me :P

You won't find a good one.

However, you will get a best-of-breed one of these!

Treat yourself, much older but much better than a Vectra IMO...

The logical choice is an E46 330i Sport Touring surely, the engine is great, and is only a few MPG out on the 318i I bet.

£6-8000 is really all you would need, and £500 back for any issues.
