Ebay or Autotrader???

I'm in the process of putting my car up for sale, and just wondering which way people would recommend? Or course i have it in the classifieds on here but would people recommend ebay or Autotrader as another means of selling it?

Previous cars i have owned, i've either traded in as a p/x or sold to friends. Am i best putting it on Autotrader, or ebay as either an auction or a classified ad?

Just Autotrader if no luck on PH. Ebay is filling up with cretins.

Add a pic of the interior, and also detail the service history, tyre condition, time to next service (how many green lights), tax MOT left etc.

I'd agree with CFox; PH 1st then ebay.

You can take a large deposit on ebay and if the seller turns up and dicks you about you are quite within your rights to keep all or some of it to cover your wasted time, listing and final sale fees.

It can be a nice little earner if you have enough idiots!

Classified add on eBay but with best offer, set the offer button to auto reject anything more than £100 or so adrift of your bottom line. eBay auctions are 99% full of nutters and weirdos and AT seems to bring out the dreamers and the 11pm wot iz ur bst price texts

eBay for exposure and AT for serious buyers.

If I had to choose one it'd be eBay.

Just be prepared for the aholes.
