So, yesterday eve, off to collect GLW from work, sitting in a queue with around 15 cars in front, round the corner from mine, side road, cars parked both sides, leading to T junction with main road, which is pretty chocker going left, so getting out of the side road depends on the good will of a driver on the main road.
I'm turning right at the end, most people turning left.
From about 5 cars behind me an X5 decides to floor it up the outside of the queue, on the wrong side of the road, followed by an sbox astra and sbox cavalier.
WTF? I think, that's a bit dangerous and impatient.
I figure they're all turning right at the end. Wrong! The X5 turns left at the junction, forcing his/her way in, the Astra doesn't make it as a car turns into the road and has to cut up the person 3 cars in front of me, the cavalier has to pull in the 'wrong' side between two parked cars!
Mental. All to save a minute or two at most.
Scary part is that if anyone had stepped out between the parked cars they wouldn't have expected a car going the 'wrong way' at speed.
What is wrong with these people? I am at a loss to understand.
All this about 500 yds from Surrey police headquarters too, if only, as they use this road a lot, a squad car was turning in.
I assume that all three drivers must have a modicum of intelligence, I'm just hope that they manage to bring about their own demise without/before they bring about someone else's.

I think they should offer light sedatives to everyone driving daily. I find myself losing patience at the moronic nature of modern drivers; their complete lack of concern or awareness of other drivers or their inability to notice that when a light goes green you MOVE FORWARD.
