A rare Mini previously owned by shamed soccer star Wayne Rooney is up for sale on motoring website Auto Trader.

Not sure if they should ask for more or less than £13.5k thanks to the owner. Beckham's old TVR went for 70k a few weeks back, probably because of its previous owner's fame.

One of 444 imported in to the country????.....thought they were built here.

Price is about right for a 4 owner car, link to Shrek is tenuous after that number of previous owners.

I thought they were shipped out to Bertone who did some work on them before technically being imported back into the UK

I really dont understand the significance of having a famous person previously owning a car when the V5 only lists 1 previous owner. Surely when the new buyer sells it on the V5 says 5 owners last owner Joe Bloggs, who gives a ****

It's because people are stupid.

Of course it's a case of the most obvious answer being the correct one, silly me.

Although if Rooney treats his car like he does his hookers then it ought to get £1200 worth of maintenance after a 30min ride.
