I am approaching a simple 4 exit small roundabout, going straight on, its raining heavily as normal. Coming the other way is an Eddie Stobart artic, the only options for him are straight on following the major route, a right turn for a Maccy Dees or new washer from Curries or back from where he came.

There is no indication from him and as he is doing about 25+ he is obviously going straight on, wrong, right round the roudabout and back the way he came from. I had to brake heavily causing a bit of sideways due to no ABS but missed him by miles.

As we are now both going the same direction I decide to pull along side at the next TL controlled roundabout and have a word. Windows down and apparently its all my fault as I should always assume a lorry is going to go all the way round a roundabout. Silly me for expecting a bit of indication.

Anyone who know's their Gearknob from their Assholes should be able to judge where a Car/Lorry is going by its Road postioning and where the driver is looking.

Lorries often give you the wrong impression on the way they are giong due to turning circles and all that. It was covered extensively on my lessons, it was poor driving from him by not indicating but extra care is always warranted around such large vehicals.

Yes I do hang around outside the courts more than normal, most of which I win, no seat belt is the next one sometime next week. No too sure how to spell cyclist, I typed realized with a s but Opra said differently.
