Hyundai Genesis coupe

Does anyone know if hyundai are ever planning to bring these to the UK? i know they where thinking about it but i would love one as an 350z alternative.

I've driven the sedan version, and it;s as good as the G35 I drive. Engine is very nice indeed, and it's actually well put together inside. haven't driven the coupe version, but can't see it being any worse. It will still suffer the badge snobs, but will be a great second hand car to pick up.

As far as I am aware there are no immediate plans to bring it to the UK. The Veloster is coming next year which is the successor to the Coupe:



A rule of thumb at the moment for Hyundai is that if the car has the front end similar ton the ix35 than it is likely to be more than just a concept.

I was under the impression the genesis coupe was the replacement for the coupe?

There is not a direct replacement for the Coupe for the time being. Here is a test shot:



It will be launched next year (Possibly March). Hyundai have 12 new cars coming in the next 5 years I think.

Hyundai really have come along in leaps and bounds in my opinion. Their SUV things are comfy, and have decent motors, the new Sonata is as good as the accord in my opinion, which is what it was aiming at, and the wee thing, can't remember it's name, is quite a stylish little thing. Coupled with the warranty you get, and the price, it's a good manufacturer for those who want nice, reliable motors.
