Am I being too optimistic?

I've got a car for sale on eBay, but I'm not sure if I've priced it far too high for the market. I'm sort of new to these cars, I'm told the chrome bumpers are a good thing, but I'm not sure by how much the utter poverty spec of it affects the price...

It is £300 over priced IMO for ebay. (Stick it on PH and car and classic or drop the price)

You shouldn't have included the ring photo too. Again IMO.

A good market place for this would be the Retrorides site.

ETA: Also lower your price - I would start at £450 ono. £600 is a tad high.

You could try I suppose. That wasn't the aim though, and I wasn't too sure how to go about asking about it otherwise. It's on PH too.

I agree that the ring photo is a bad idea for an advert, can give a bad impression of the way the car has been treated.

In fairness that was exactly how I treated the car. I bought it, drove it all the way there flat out, lapped it, drove it all the way back flat out. I don't really want to lie about that sort of thing.

I understand, but a lot of people will think that flat out means treated badly. It doesn't mean that at all, but could put the uneducated potential buyers off.
