Replacement Service History Book?

Hi, has anyone tried to get the SH of their car retrieved. I.e. the book and all receipts are lost but there were dealer and specialist stamps in it. It's an Audi, so just wondering how much a replacement book would be and how easy it might be to get it re-stamped?

I bought an A4 a few years back, and that had a print out of all the history, as the book had been lost.

But I believe you can also order a new service book from Audi, and they will stamp it with history stored in their systems.

Blank service books are £20-£30 plus VAT usually. Some have to be ordered with ID and will come with your vehicle details in them, some will be blank and have duplicate printed on every page. Depends on the manufacturers.

Fake service histories are big business hence these days most manufacturers are as cautious with replacement service books as they are keys, so expect questions to be asked and your ID to be verified.
