Help, 10k to spend on new car?
Discussion
Hi all,
Just about to buy a new car, B7 A4 2.0T Quattro... I looks great, fairly fast has all the right options in a nice colur etc etc.. However, it just doesn't excite me! I have a max budget of £10,200 - can anyone help me with some suggestions on other cars to consider.. Only problem is I'm 6ft 2", 16-stone and look silly in small cars!
I have considered the following cars, but rejected them on the following grounds;
- Boxster 3.2S (Great drive, but I fear it will be too small, and girly)
- Z4 3.0L Sport (Too small and girly)
- 350z (Too small and plasticy inside, although great fun on test drive)
- B6 S4 (Great car, although fuel bills could get silly and starting to feel dated with old style grill)
- E46 M3 (Great car, but dare I say it - getting a little chav now..)
What are your thoughts on the above, and is there any cars I should consider?

From your list, I'm guessing you want something relatively modern with a bit of space and a bit of pace?
Have you thought about a Monaro?
I would love something sporty and modern but struggle with cabin space and head room.. Have you thought about a Monaro?

There are loads of cars. And to be honest if you can't find a fun interesting car for £10k then you may need medical help.Just about to buy a new car, B7 A4 2.0T Quattro... Lot's of choice though, many with V8's or turbocharged motors (have posted about lots of them in the past). But if you want fun and interesting Audi probably isn't the solution, nor are many BMW's unless you plan to swap frequently.
