how many seats in a Kangoo PC?

Looking to hire a car at the weekend. One option is a Renault Kangoo People Carrier, but the website says 5+ and all the googled reviews of this People Carrier seem to forget to mention the seating capacity... Anyone knows how many seats there actually are?

I think it's 5. 2 in the front, 3 in the back. We had to hire an Alhambra for 6 of us which was nearly as much as the villa.

Yeah, I am looking at the price and it's 6 of us who are going, I am the driver. For the price of a 7 seater I can rent a BMW Z4 or a convertible and tell them to get a bus instead

5. My aunt is on her 3rd one. Good enough car now they're putting the 1.5dCi in them - the old 1.9 NA diesel was rubbish.

What about renault scenic or Opel zafira? are they all just 5 seaters too?

Zafira is 7.

P.S. If you are going on holiday, you may need a big 7 seater or a van, mid-size people carriers have a miniscule boot with all 7 seats in use, and if using 6 seats, you wil be piling up all the suitcases next to the smallest passenger (the rearmost seats in mid-size mpvs tend to be fit for kids or v.small adults only) so not the safest solution. If you're travelling light - not such a problem.

The Ford S-Max also comes in a 7 seater, and from what I remember it wasn't too dear to rent either (from Avis).

A friend owned a Zafira and his kids hated being in the back row due to lack of legroom. We had an Alhambra TDI which, as noted, will swallow passengers and all their cases and to be fair, wasn't a bad drive, even through the mountains of Tenerife. I think the cheaper option is a Pug 807 which will doubtless do the same job and which is what was offered on the car hire site - but I don't think I've ever got what I ordered.
