Real World MPG

Having just bought a hack for a new longer commute I struggled to find any real world mpg figures to help me choose a car that would be fit for purpose, so with that in mind thought it might be useful for others in the same position to start a thread detailing what we are all actually getting on our daily commutes.

I’ll start:

Car: VW Passat
Engine: 1.9TDI (130bhp)
Transmission: Auto
Year: 2004
Daily drive: 75% Motorway / 25% A roads and town driving
Average MPG: 43.5 (Best 46mpg / Worst 41mpg)
