I've read the story on this and the 2 M3's which were all bought off the same guy who was apparently so rich he forgot he had them. I wonder how much the new owner paid for them? A damn site less that £80K I'd wager, especially if the original owner was not aware of the full value of them. Nice way to make a nice little earner I reckon.

Oh and those 190 EVO's are awesome!

Out of interest, can you register a car which is 20 years old but has never been registered? If yes, would it be supplied with a '60' number plate or an age related one?

Not that anyone would want to register it obviously!!

I'm pretty sure you could register it and it would come back with an age related plate (just going on what happens when you buy an ex M.O.D car that wasn't road registered)

Great cart, ut not such a great investment for the original owner. They were about 60K when new. Had theat gone into bricks and mortar it would be 200K+ now, equally an early 70s RS would have cost maybe 30K and now 200K.

I can't understand how someone can expect to get any serious bidders when the advert is so badly written, do you seriously expect to get 80k for a car when you can't even put the advert through a spell checker/get someone to proof read it?
